Born in the midwest, to an African American father and a Latvian mother, Paul's father filled their house with jazz, as well as the musicians who created the music. At a young age, Paul began photographing the musicians, taking polaroids when they stopped by. He's since moved to Brooklyn, NY, where for ten years, he worked with Annie Leibovitz, refining his body language research and lighting design skills for ad campaigns, Vogue,Vanity Fair shoots, as well as a Pirelli calendar.
He is currently working on a dance series of studio portraits.
Paul is a Portrait Photographer that has contributed to Vogue, Ferrari, Elle Magazines, B.A.F.T.A., and NBC.
